Just the right amount of zing and warmth from the ginger and a little sweetness from the honey. I add a little light and mild honey, that’s just personal preference!
As a lover of the Sweet Ginger, and still in mourning at its passing, I was intrigued to try this new gingery flavour. Yes, it is very nice but I do miss my passionate & fiery kick from Sweet Ginger.

I did enjoy this tea, I will definitely add it to my Tea Pig collection. I like the peppery ginger mixed with the honey undertones.
But I really loved Sweet Ginger tea, it would be great if that flavour could be revived, it was one of my favourites. I will substitute it with this one, but it doesn’t have quite the same fiery kick and ginger after taste…
I don’t think I have ever opened a packet of tea and had such an exceptional blend of aromas come out. This tea fits me to a tee especially because of the slow gradient of heat that builds from the first sip. Manuka honey plus apple and ginger is a superb combination. The first whiff for me was delicious honey. The only complaint is that I find it slightly too sweet but this is easily rectified by using a large mug and more hot water added at the end. I’m storing up for the cooler months ahead. One of my favourite Teapigs teas hands down.
