Straight from The Book of Matcha and perfect on a hot summer’s day, we had a helping hand from the highly-regarded nutritionists Aidan Goggins and Glen Matten to create some super-healthy (and super delicious) juice recipes. Let's take a look at how to make them, and find out from the pair why these jucies are so great for you...

To make all juices, simply place all the ingredients below in a blender and blend until smooth, then serve immediately over ice. All recipes are for one serving.

Peach and apple juice

This juice is fresh, sweet and summery, and the addition of Greek yoghurt makes it feel delightfully indulgent.

 What you'll need...

  • 1 peach, peeled
  • 100ml (3½fl oz) apple juice
  • 1 tbsp Greek yoghurt
  • ½ tsp matcha powder
  • squeeze of honey
  • ice, to serve

Glorious green juice

Go green with the brassica queen! Packed with vitamins C, K and folate as well as polyphenols and immune-boosting beta-carotene, kale is a nutrient powerhouse, which when combined with matcha makes for a health blockbuster. The addition of banana gives it an irresistible creaminess.

What you'll need...

  • 1 banana
  • 2 handfuls of kale
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 100ml (3½fl oz) apple juice
  • ½ tsp matcha powder
  • ice, to serve

Beautiful berry juice

We love berries and their bumper supply of healthful anthocyanins, the pigments that give berries their colour and have potent benefits in warding off obesity, diabetes and heart disease, as well as boosting bone density and brain health.

What you'll need...

  • 5 large strawberries
  • 10 raspberries
  • 10 blueberries
  • 100ml (3½fl oz) apple juice
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 2 sprigs of basil
  • ½ tsp matcha powder
  • ice, to serve
