e-commerce customer assistant

We’re looking for an energetic individual with a keen interest in e-commerce to look after our online customers and to assist our online team with the day to day upkeep of the teapigs website. You’ll handle incoming emails, calls and talk to our customers on social media while making sure we provide the best customer service not only in the tea business, but in the WORLD!

 Customer service responsibilities:

  • The #1 point of contact for all of our customers – making sure they get the best service in the world!
  • Managing all customer enquiries via email, phone, snail mail or social media.
  • Owning and reporting on your customer service performance statistics. You’ll also highlight good / bad feedback and build a bank of this feedback for use by the wider team.
  • Identify points for improving the customer journey and work with Reece to implement changes.
  • Covering for the E-commerce Operations Manager to make sure orders still get shipped while she’s away.

 Web Assistant responsibilities:

  • Making sure our websites look great at all times – we like to think of them as a shop window.
  • Raising and managing issues with the support team speedily to minimise downtime for our customers.
  • Creating short notice email campaigns outside of our bigger month long campaigns.
  • Assisting the E-commerce team with Amazon product setup, page edits and other maintenance tasks.
  • Setting up discount codes and reporting on their successes.
  • Covering for the E-commerce team in Reece / Rachel’s absence to make sure emails still get setup and sent and the website content is scheduled correctly.

Skills and experience required: 

-          You’ll need a real passion for making people happy

-          Amazing customer service / people skills

-          Fluent English

-          A big interest in marketing and e-commerce

-          A love for all things tea!

Desirable, but not required:

-          Photoshop experience even if self-taught!

-          Fluent in French or German 


Compensation details

£21,000 + Bonus + Benefits (health care option/ free tea allowance / weekly fitness classes)

25 days paid annual leave (excluding bank holidays)

teapigs supply chain superstar

Do you love tea? Do you love a project and enjoy solving puzzles? Are you keen to learn fast and take on a position of responsibility quickly?

We are looking for a sharp minded tea drinking individual to take on a supply chain and projects role at teapigs. We are a busy growing tea company based in West London and we are looking for someone to take on the logistics and supply chain responsibilities of the company.

This involves….

  • Forecasting – working with the sales teams to develop an accurate forecast of how much tea is required, when and where.
  • Supplier management – building a close relationship with key suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of stock.
  • New product launches – working with the co-founders to launch new items – focusing on quality control and compliance.
  • Coordinate process for new artwork with Marketing
  • Project management – co-ordinating the supply chain elements of varied projects.
  • Negotiating – working with our logistics suppliers to find the optimum value for their services.

This role will suit someone who….

  • Is a fast learner.
  • Has a sharp mind and loves using excel.
  • Is looking for a role where you are central to the ‘goings on’ of a business.
  • Is a strong communicator – interacting with people internally and externally confidently and clearly.
  • Is determined and will doggedly find a solution to challenges which arise.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Able to prioritise workload, this is a juggling role.
  • Work independently.

This role may attract a recent graduate or someone with experience. We’re open to all applicants who have the above qualities – experience is not a necessity on this occasion.

Compensation details

Trade Customer Service Champ

We're looking for an enthusiastic, energetic tea lover to join our wonderful trade team to deliver the best possible customer service to our trade accounts & to help drive sales within independent businesses.

Based in our office in west London, the role will be partly made up of processing all trade orders. This ranges from a little cafe wanting a few cases to a large supermarket wanting pallets of tea. You will be responsible for ensuring that they received their tea on time and the correct tea. The rest of your time will be made up of pro-actively calling independent stockists to let them know about any teapigs news.

You will be part of a young team in a fast growing business. This is an entry level role which would suit a recent graduate or someone with a couple of years of work experience.

You're perfect for us if you are...

Friendly and able to build relationships – you’ll spend a lot of time on the phone talking to teapigs customers so building relationships will be important.

Organised – You will be juggling lots of tasks, so being able to manage work load is key.

Ability to work under pressure accurately.

Willing to chip in – there is lots going on in the office so we all help each other out!
