Trade Team Assistant

We are looking for a detail-orientated, organised tea lover with fantastic customer service skills to join our team.

In the role of trade team assistant you’ll be responsible for chatting to all our super stockists and taking their orders - from teeny cafes to larger accounts like Selfridges. You’ll also be developing tea sales within independent stockists, helping us on our mission to get the nation drinking real tea!

Here’s more detail:

Order Management - You will need to take tea orders over the phone and via email as well as quickly handling any issues that arise.

Customer Service – You will work with the independent stockists to make sure all their teapigs needs are covered- from supply to upselling.

Working with the teapigs team – you will help out with the Independent trade team, visiting stockists, updating team information.

The perfect person for this role will be….

Detail orientated –you need to have a sharp eye to make sure all the tea goes to the correct place!

Organised – You will be juggling lots of tasks, so being able to manage work load is key.

Happy to pick up the phone – we regularly give our stockists a call to make sure everything is okay and tell them about anything new at teapigs.

Friendly – you will be constantly talking to our stockists, so you have to be ready to have a chat!

Willing to chip in –there is lots going on in the office so we all help each other out!

You will be looking to be part of a young and busy team in a fast-growing, friendly business. This is an entry level role.

Compensation details

£21,000 + Bonus + Benefits (health care option/ free tea allowance / weekly fitness classes!)

Based in West London

in-store and events brand ambassador

Maintain the great relationships we have with our top stockists by visiting stores and sampling teapigs teas for customers to try and buy. You’ll be representing the teapigs brand at exhibitions, in-store samplings and other out and about events, hopefully selling lots of tea!

 

To start as soon as possible…

 

What we are looking for:

  • A friendly and welcoming individual to represent our brand at exhibitions, in-store samplings and other consumer events
  • London-based – the majority of our sampling activity is based in London however we are always on the lookout for teapigs lovers in Manchester and Birmingham!
  • We are looking for ambassadors with a love for all things teapigs
  • Some customer service or customer facing experience is preferred, although not essential
  • Reliability – key to becoming a good brand ambassador
  • Availability – it’s a busy time of year!

Responsibilities:

  • Representing the teapigs brand at in-store samplings and consumer events
  • Sampling loads of amazing teapigs products for prospective customers
  • Selling lots of tea
  • Maintaining the great relationship we have with our key stockists
  • You will be the eyes and ears for teapigs HQ, feeding us lots of useful feedback on stock and sales
  • Main sampling locations; Whole Foods Market, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, John Lewis Foodhall and Planet Organic
