teapigs export assistant (maternity cover)

lover of tea and detail needed to sell our real tea to 35 different countries worldwide.

Applicants are required to hold the relevant Visas/Work Permit

This role would suit someone who is looking to start a role in international sales.

You will be responsible for:

  • Taking international tea orders - passing them onto the warehouse, dealing with associated paperwork and certificates.

  • Developing sales via the export channel, working closely with the export team to make our international customers happy!

  • Responding to customer enquiries in a speedy (and effective!) way. Providing the best customer service experience ever!

  • Feeding back regularly to the rest of the teapigs team to make them aware of what our customers are saying and thinking

  • Assisting in growing our export channel

The person for this role

  • Detail orientated.
  • Organised – You will be juggling lots of tasks, so being able to manage work load is key
  • Happy to pick up the phone – we regularly give our stockists a call to make sure everything is okay their side and to keep them up to date with teapigs news
  • Willing to chip in –there is lots going on in the office so we all help each other out!
  • Keen to work as part of a small, enthusiastic team in a rapidly expanding business.

Experience of customer service, administration and export would be an advantage but not essential.

This role is for a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave.


Salary Guideline: £21,000 + bonus + benefits + free tea
