out of home sales assistant 

This entry level role has loads of opportunity for progression, if you’re looking to find your feet in a fast-growing foodie business this is the ideal role for you. We’re still quite a small team so you’ll need to be keen to pitch in everywhere to help get stuff done.

Our tea isn’t just drunk at home, it’s also served in lots of places you’d come by every day - restaurant chains, offices, stadiums and universities to name a few. It’s our mission to make sure they’re serving the best cup of tea possible! In this role you will have a solid understanding of how our key out of home accounts operate and will be assisting account managers with keeping our customers happy on a day to day basis.

You’ll need bags of enthusiasm to succeed in this fast paced area of the business. You’ll play a huge part in organising and hosting pop-ups and training sessions, attending trade shows across the country and generally assisting in account management duties.

Your main responsibility day-to-day will be to support on our larger national accounts which include Bidfood and Compass Group. This is certainly not a “desk-job” and you’ll often find yourself out on the road visiting our trade customers and serving tea to consumers.

We’re not “sell sell sell” but some sales experience is desired as you’ll regularly be face to face with our customers for samplings and events.

Grocery Account Executive

teapigs are looking for a tea nut with lots of energy to join our small retail team! This entry level role would be perfect for a tea lover (who isn’t?!) with an interest in learning about the retail channel.   

Our mission is to get the nation drinking real tea and our retail accounts help us reach lots of teapigs customers up and down the country. After all, it’s only fair that everyone gets the chance to drink a good quality brew. We need to make sure that there is always product on the shelf as well as the right marketing mechanisms to drive growth and attract new customers. This could include anything from running promotions to in-store samplings. 

Your main responsibility day-to-day will be to support the Account Managers on the grocery and icon accounts such as Waitrose and Harvey Nichols. Your day will involve anything from processing all the grocery orders, analysing category data, making sales calls or being out and about visiting the stores.

We are a friendly bunch and you will need to be too! You will be brilliant at building good relationships whilst also being analytical with a keen eye for the detail.

customer service champ

The notion of buying tea online is still pretty odd to some, however not to Reece, Rachel and Leonie - our awesome E-commerce team! We're incredibly proud of our little website (granted, it's not so little anymore) and are looking for someone to join the ranks as our customer service champ - a fab entry level role for someone wanting to join a young, friendly team.

In a nutshell, we’re looking for a fun and energetic individual with a keen interest in e-commerce to look after our online customers and to assist Reece and Rachel with the day to day upkeep of the teapigs website - if you're interested in Game of Thrones that would also be a nice little plus, but for legal reasons - not essential criteria.

On a daily basis you’ll handle incoming emails, calls and talk to our customers on social media while making sure we provide the best customer service possible - something we pride ourselves on!  

 Customer service responsibilities:

  • The number 1 point of contact for all of our online customers – making sure they get the best service imaginable! With teapigs being widely available now, amazing customer service is a primary reason why people love shopping with us online. 
  • Managing all customer enquiries via email, phone, snail mail or social media - you'll be amazed by some of the enquiries we get. 
  • Owning and reporting on your customer service performance statistics. You’ll also highlight good / bad feedback and build a bank of this feedback for use by the wider team.
  • Identify points for improving the customer journey and work with Reece to implement changes.
  • Covering for the E-commerce Operations Manager to make sure orders still get shipped while she’s away.

 Web Assistant responsibilities:

  • Making sure our websites look great at all times – we like to think of them as a shop window.
  • Raising and managing issues with the support team speedily to minimise downtime for our customers.
  • Creating short notice email campaigns outside of our bigger month long campaigns.
  • Assisting the E-commerce team with Amazon product setup, page edits and other maintenance tasks.
  • Setting up discount codes and reporting on their successes.
  • Covering for the E-commerce team in Reece / Rachel’s absence to make sure emails still get setup and sent and the website content is scheduled correctly.

Skills and experience required: 

  • You’ll need a real passion for making people happy
  • Amazing customer service / people skills
  • Fluent English
  • A big interest in marketing and e-commerce
  • A love for all things tea!
  • Willingness to get stuck in with everything 

Desirable, but not required:

  • Photoshop experience even if self-taught!
  • Fluent in French or German
