what's special about this tea?
Wonderful liquorice! It's been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine, it's hugely popular with the Dutch and it tastes so much better with peppermint than in sherbet dips. That's why we've blended pure liquorice root with whole peppermint leaves - it's naturally sweet, unexpectedly refreshing and irresistibly moreish (if I say so myself).

It started with one ‘the peppermint’ and kept on growing. The latest Liquorice & Peppermint is now my favourite. I went on a diet recently and it was a little bit of sweetness minus the calories.
I tried these on a visit last week and was blown away by the taste. I try and stay away from caffeine in the afternoon and have doubled with mint teas but never been in a place where I would choose one over a coffee. These ones are next level though - I adore the sweetness of the liquorice!
I’ve just joined the herbal tea brigade at 60! I did not expect the bags (tea temples) to be so big and awesome looking! I am truly amazed by how wonderful tasting this combination is. It takes away any desire for sweet stuff. My only criticism is that you have to be very careful untangling the string as the bag (tea temple, sorry) rips easily.
Such a sweet and pleasant tea - great for replacing soft drinks or as a sweet treat.
