A bit of experimenting yesterday evening lead to a final recipe for cheat’s mulled wine using teapigs spiced winter red tea temples…
1 bottle red wine
4 tbs sugar
Half an orange, sliced
1. Simply throw in all the ingredients to one big pan. We snipped the strings off the tea temples.
2. Bring to just below boiling point, stirring occasionally.
3. Turn down the heat right down and simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Serve as a delicious, warming drink on a cold day!
