Having been up Ben Nevis and Scafell many times it was about time I went up the final of the 3 UK peaks. So myself and a mate visited Wales and hiked up Tryfan and Snowdon over the weekend.

Gale force winds, driving rain, fog so thick you don’t know where you are going or where you have been is my first experience of Snowdon. Oh what joy!

So the only way to keep motivated was to get up and down as fast as possible (including a bit of fell running). 2hrs 45mins to complete the ‘6 hour’ hike described by the national park posters.

Still soggy we had hit the pub by midday for a pie and a pint.

Where too next? Suggestions?
