As we say on all our brewing instructions, infuse in boiling water for at least 3 minutes. Don’t rush – just relax and watch the leaves unfurl. This is the best way to get the maximum flavour from your quality whole leaf tea. And whilst you’re infusing away you might like to watch this short video featuring tea expert Dr Tim Bond explaining that a 3 minute brew is also the best way to ensure the healthiest cuppa. Apparently  brewing tea longer increases the level of antioxidants called flavonoids, also found in fruit and vegetables, which may help in the fight against heart disease and cancer by neutralising harmful chemicals in the blood. So, something that’s not often the case, flavour and health combined, the perfect brew.
