I'm sitting here being grossly underwhelmed by one of your Chai teapigs, which I find to be greatly disappointing, and frankly badly lacking in flavour, character and strength. When I have the time and inclination, I brew pretty authentic chai, which I'm told is a fair copy of the pukka Indian product, but your teapigs are a great disappointment. I'm not expecting the full chai experience from a teabag, but a near approximation would suffice - I've lately been drinking some from "Whittards" which aren't at all bad, and went in search of some yesterday in my local Waitrose, they didn't have any, and I had the choice of Twinings' offering (not with a ten-foot bargepole as they resort to synthetic "flavourings"), or yours at an eye-watering price......... Here's my recipe for "the real thing" - I'd suggest you need to aim for something like the flavour of that - "My recipe - pestle and mortar - add 4 black peppercorns and four cloves - grind - add a good handful of green cardamoms - grind - one broken up cinnamon stick, several slices of fresh ginger, two teabags, and seven heaped teaspoons sugar (necessary to bring out the spices) - add 2-3 pints of water - bring to very slow simmer, and keep it simmering for at least 20 minutes, then add half a tin of evaporated milk (gives the authentic Indian taste), stir and serve in small glass tumblers"

How strange - my experience just like the previous Neil. Don't know how my taste buds do it but KFC is exactly how it smells - not tea-like at all.

Only had 1 sip! It's absolutely stunning! It completely relaxed me before i'd even drank any of it! Just the smell completely calmed me down!

I really enjoy green tea and decided to try this after reading the reviews. seriously disapointed, there is no way i can drink this stuff, I've tried brewing it for different times to see if I can improve the taste but no way. and yes it does taste like drinking kentucky fried chicken!

Whatever you do, make sure you order the tea pigs glass cup and saucer with this tea!! Watching it brew is really quite the most beautiful thing!

I am a die-hard coffee drinker trying to give up and dislike standard teas ... this peppermint is quite quite wonderful - my sleep pattern is improved and stomach issues resolved - I can't give it a high enough recommendation - 11/10 really!

I don't normally write reviews, but this tea is so much better than the dry, dusty versions available at the shops. I have tried various peppermint teas over the years, and after reading all the reviews I thought I'd give this a try. It is that much stronger, cleaner and more refreshing. I drink mine with a drop of honey as it is quite strong, but it works esp if you suffer with IBS or bloating and helps really quickly. I highly recommend this tea, and once you've had it you won't want to drink the other brands again! Thank you Teapigs :)

I think this is the best mint tea on the market. I was first introduced to it at a wedding at the Grove Hotel and have been hooked ever since :). i have a cup of mint tea every night after dinner so no need for Gaviscon any more!

I've tried lots of green tea with mint before, and this has to be the best one. It's not bitter (to me, anyway), and the mint doesn't overtake the green tea. It's so good!
