I've been experimenting with your rooibos tea. To start with I found I didn't like the taste, so I've been adding honey, I've settled on half a teaspoon, as it makes it sweeter but not sickly. Then, just now, I was making a mug, and was thinking as it was brewing how much it looked like ordinary black tea, so I figured I could probably put milk in it, but decided that would be boring, so I put cream in instead! It's made it look like milky tea, and it tastes somewhere between that and rice pudding! Nomnomnom... :)
This is definitely the best Peppermint Tea I've ever tasted. I've only been drinking it regularly for about a week and already I can feel a difference. The phrase 'tummy tonic' is definitely true with this tea!! I only ordered a box of 15 tea temples but I will definitely be needing to order some more soon as I can't get enough of it...and I keep giving them away to friends to show them just how good this tea really is!!
This is really nice - I can drink green tea but I'm not a huge fan of it, however this I could definitely see me buying more of! Really fresh and crisp, and has a lovely minty taste to it. Drunk with sugar, it's a real treat.
Generally I dislike tea, all that dust and after taste. I first sampled Mao Feng Green tea in Brighton and loved it at once. Hint of fruit in the aroma and a lovely taste. I love it and now buy it on line.
Fantastic, calming for an upset tummy, but also refreshing on a day to day basis. Best peppermint tea I've tasted. So pleased I have found Teapigs.
I love this tea, after trying several different brands tea pigs is by far the best. It smells delightful and tastes wonderful with a touch of milk and sugar. Scrumptious :-)
I had a free sample of this peppermint tea with my last order and it's coonviced me to get a pack in my next order - it has quite a strong taste (though having read other reviews I was expecting the taste to be even stronger compared to other brands) and you get a really lovely cooling, slightly tingly feeling whilst you're drinking it. It's healthy but it's also a pleasant, enjoyable tea to drink, not one where you have to kind of force yourself to finish the cup. I was expecting there to be a slightly more radical diffrence from other brands I've tried because of the rave reviews and higher price but I think it's probably just worth the price and the diffrences from other brands are subtle but enough that you would notice it when you switched back.
I wasn't sure I'd like this, but as it was part of my teapiglets pack, I was resolved to try it. I love green tea, and this is no exception. Mao Feng is light and refreshing, and not as sweet as Jasmin, great for those moments where you just want to take a second for yourself. The list of teas I want to buy in bigger balk is getting, well, bigger.
This tea is lovely. I've just had my first sip of the teapiglets version, and I know for certain I'll be making a bigger order. Instantly after the first sip my breath felt fresh (even though I'd just cleaned them!) and I can tell that this is a much better mint tea than any others (and I've tried a few) that I've tried. I thought the other reviewers might be hyping a little, but no, no hype. I think this would be great for those who need a pick-me-up, or don't feel too great. Lovely tea :D
The smell is one of wonderful, fresh cut ginger, and the taste is similar. The lemongrass probably adds some flavour to the tea, but the ginger is all you'll get. This isn't a bad thing. Also, don't brew it too strongly, unless you have a cold.
