Excellent taste

Not sure if it's just my batch of whether this is how this infusion is, however I found this blend very weak. I really like the 100% rooibos you can get from a well known brand in the supermarket, so I thought this would be even better! It is much weaker in both aroma/smell and flavour compared to that though - possibly because this is 30% rooibos and 70% honeybush, so it's more subtle. What I will do for now is mix the supermarket brand with the Teapigs blend to reach required strength. That said I shall also continue enjoying the Teapigs black tea everyday brew which I find superb.

I bought this as part of a kit with the strainer for a mug (which is pretty good). I have had it for a month or so and keep trying it but it is an acquired taste which I have yet to acquire. I didn't realise it would have such a strong lime flavour, which is strange and not really like Earl Grey. It is good strong tea for sure and looks very pretty in the jar but I regret buying two packs. It is clear some people love it so would suggest buying a sample or small pack if you have never tried it. Maybe I will be converted by the end of pack two in which case I will update my review if I can! It isn't horrible, just strange.

I received a free sample in my order that arrived today and funnily enough I had scoured the website for decaf options as I am trying to limit my caffeine after midday to help me sleep better. So I was thrilled to try a "normal" tea rather than herbal or "fancy". The decaf English breakfast tea is perfect, the taste is what you would expect and I enjoyed my sample cup. Definitely adding these to my next order!

My better half says it tastes like mud and branches

I rarely drank tea, until I discovered Earl grey strong. Its such a good tea. I love strong flavours so the blend of the black tea with the bergamot works brilliantly. Who knew tea could taste so good.
