We are reaching the end of our very first matcha pop up week, but with a fantastic busy Saturday and Sunday to come we are going to end on a bang!

We hope you’ve enjoyed our pop up so far, and special thanks to our customers and blogger fans that came to three very special events we hosted this week.

First up on Wednesday, the super nice Eve from Headspace came down to talk about meditation, bust some myths and show us all just how simple it is. Matcha has been used for centuries by Buddhist monks to help them remain calm and focused during hours of meditation and it was great to learn more about it and to realise its not as daunting as it may appear.

Eve even treated us to a ten minute meditation, which transported us from buzzing Shoreditch to an oasis of calm! Its super easy to get started - learn online, when you want, wherever you are, in just 10 minutes a day. Check out Headspace’s great How it Works video and give it a whirl.

We were joined yesterday for two events by Natasha Corrett, healthy food guru and self taught chef from Honestly Healthy. We’ve long been fans of Natasha and her super tasty recipes and she’s been drinking our matcha for years so it was brilliant to have her come to our pop up and give some talks to our customers and a great group of food and lifestyle bloggers.

Using her very snazzy blender (that actually cooks as well as blends!) she whizzed up a tasty cleansing green matcha smoothie with kale and pak choi and also a healthy matcha hot chocolate that we all went crazy for.

We hope you can make it down for the final two days at our pop up in Shoreditch, and don’t forget, matcha is still on offer for the rest of January. All matcha products (including kits) are 20% off with the code MATCHA15. You can even take the matcha challenge into February if you order before the end of January. So give it a go, and let us know what you think!
