Another busy week ahead for teapigs Rhys & Rhys as the real tea tour makes two stops across Somerset on the quest to serve real tea.  First up, this Saturday it’s the Somerset Cider and Cheese Festival, where festival revellers will able to enjoy the finest cheeses and cider to complement their lovely teapigs.

Selling tea isn’t the only job that the boys will be charged with at the event though, as they’ll also be MCs for the evening festivities of the Cheese Olympics (yes, they do exist!) So if you think you’re a gold medal worthy winner of apple smashing or can smash down a winner at the cheese shy then this festival is for you!  Joining them will be ex-England cricketer Marcus Trescothick, an expert apple smasher by all accounts.

The boys won’t be having too much cider though, as they’ll be back on the road and off to the Green Scythe Fair in the beautiful Thorney Lakes the following morning. Run completely on renewable energy, the boys will be learning about the importance of sustainability through arts and a range of crafts, then keeping thirsty visitors quenched throughout the day.

In the South-West this weekend? Pop along and meet them and make sure you take a photo enjoying some tea at the van, post it on twitter and be in with a chance to win a year’s supply of tea!
