teapigs e-commerce assistant

teapigs are looking for an energetic, digitally-minded tea lover to help ensure teapigs international websites are the best tea-buying and browsing experience around.  You’ll be assisting the teapigs E-commerce Manager in all of the day-to-day runnings of teapigs international E-commerce sites covering merchandising, uploading new products and images, driving traffic to the site, fixing glitches, running sales reports and responding to web-related customer enquiries (“My tea order hasn’t arrived, I live in Uzbekistan”). You’ll have a great tone of voice and a real instinct for fantastic customer service and good website functionality.

Keeping our international websites looking and working brilliantly

  • Making sure our websites (your shops!) look great at all times - uploading and re-arranging products, images, reviews and content in line with the E-commerce Sales and Marketing Plan
  • Making sure the websites are in good working order at all times - liaising with our web agency to resolve any minor issues as and when they occur
  • Uploading content into our email marketing client in line with the teapigs marketing calendar
  • Assisting the E-commerce Manager on larger website development and SEO projects
  • Creating weekly and monthly sales and performance reports so we analyse the success of our activities
  • You’ll also be supporting teapigs Head of E-commerce and Marketing with the day to day management of the teapigs Ocado and Amazon accounts. Duties will include setting up new products and promotions, creating graphics and sales reports and ensuring we have a good presence on these partner sites

Keeping our online customers happy

  • You’ll be the point of contact for all our online customers, making sure they have the best tea buying experience out there
  • Handling all customer enquiries via email, phone and snail mail super efficiently
  • Taking telephone orders, processing returns and errors
  • Feeding back to the e-commerce and marketing team on how to constantly evolve teapigs customer service and website experience
  • Reporting on customer service performance monthly
  • Supporting the e-commerce team during peak time and absences from work across all areas (printing orders, setting packing room targets, packing orders, organising couriers)

What you need to do the job!

  • A keen interest in web and the latest technology
  • A good eye for design and the finer details
  • Great customer service / people skills
  • Previous experience using Photoshop, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and a website CMS would be appreciated, but aren’t completely necessary
  • To enjoy multi-tasking and has a brilliant memory
  • A keenness to work in a small, young team and get stuck in
  • To like really good tea

Salary - £21,000 + bonus, pension scheme, and free tea!
