we're hiring | junior account manager - international

We’re looking for a sales savvy tea nut to help us to grow business within our export team!

In this role you will be tasked with proactively making new contacts and building strong relationships in order to grow existing accounts and win new business all whilst educating people about the world of real tea!

You'll be working on our secondary international markets as the main point of contact, developing strong relationships and implementing changes to drive sales through our existing customer network while also proactively looking and securing new sales opportunities within your markets. There will be a small amount of international travel primarily within Europe and Asia where you will be visiting existing customers with a focus on nurturing accounts, up selling and cross selling. You will also be supporting our export team at international shows, exhibitions, and meetings as well as supporting on shared order processing and admin duties.

You will also be responsible for developing and helping activate marketing plans with our accounts to drive sales within your markets.

Sales and marketing experience is required as you’ll be expected to work fairly independently to target relevant accounts in order to drive new business. The role is office-based from teapigs HQ in Brentford, London.

  • A bit of an obsession with to-do lists and are proactive – coming with solutions not problems
  • Excellent attention to detail, personal organisation and communication skills
  • Previous sales experience (required) – if it’s within international and or the food and drinks industry then even better, but we’ll consider anyone with a real passion for food & drink
  • BIG ambition to learn and grow within a small(ish), fun and dynamic team
  • Flexibility and a willingness to get your hands dirty – we’re a small team so there’s lots of change and sometimes tasks will overlap across teams
