The teapigs infusing wheel is perfect for brewing loose tea for one. Simply twist open, pop in your loose leaves, twist back together and pop into your cup or teapot.
I am completely in two minds about this product. It is very VERY good at allowing leaf tea (or in my case chamomile flowers) to infuse without any bits escaping. And it's very pretty.
HOWEVER the first time I used it, it took me (and my husband) a good 10 mins to figure out how to open it. (a fiddly twist & pull motion is needed).
The only teapig product I'm not happy with - my infuser wheel broke the first day I got it (yesterday evening), first the chain snapped, and then the actual wheel got stuck and refused to open, and is now in the bin with half a bag of lemongrass tea left in it, as I can't open it to get it out again. Disappointed, I must admit.
...took a few minutes to screw it open when it was first delivered. even more difficult when full of tea or wet. makes it a fiddly (and potentially messy) choice for tea drinking which puts me off using it. disappointed.
This is great with all loose teas. It sits in all my mugs and its easy to use. I have used it with coarse cut teas as well as very fine cut ones and its great. Well made and robust I think I should buy another to use at work.
This is great and fits the cup and saucer like a glove! Also fits all other cups and mugs!
