Description

Rooibos South Africa, Cedarberg region Sourced from:
South Africa, Cedarberg region

Louise the tea taster says

This is a blend of the leaves of two native bushes from South Africa. Rooibos and Honey Bush grow only in the Cedarberg region of South Africa. Rooibos (Afrikaans for red bush) and Honey Bush are harvested and processed in much the same way as tea. This organic blend is particularly high in antioxidants and nutrients.

How does it taste?

An earthy, mahogany-coloured nectar that gives way to a subtly nutty flavour.

Good if you're feeling

in need of some African sun. Who needs a safari break? A cup of this will give you that much-needed holiday feeling, being crammed with goodies to rid you of toxins and calm your system.

honeybush and rooibos

my favourite teapig with the white tea being a close second.
Rooibos was never a palatable tea to me till I tried this one....absolutely gorgeous and the one I take to work to drink in my teapigs glass cup and saucer ... no sugar, just plain and it looks very pretty too

Lovely comforting tea! mmmm yum

Really gorgeous tea, never bitter even if you do leave it to brew too long.

Naturally sweet enough so it's great if you're avoiding excess sugars - I personally don't think you need to add anything to it (except water of course!)

Cannot fault it, I love it!

A Tasty Little Number...

I've been experimenting with your rooibos tea. To start with I found I didn't like the taste, so I've been adding honey, I've settled on half a teaspoon, as it makes it sweeter but not sickly. Then, just now, I was making a mug, and was thinking as it was brewing how much it looked like ordinary black tea, so I figured I could probably put milk in it, but decided that would be boring, so I put cream in instead! It's made it look like milky tea, and it tastes somewhere between that and rice pudding! Nomnomnom... :)

Organic Honey Bush and Rooibos Tea

Very pleasant aroma and almost woody, earthy taste to this tea. Nice with a small amount of milk, but equally with none in at all. Very refreshing.
