Description

Darjeeling Earl Grey Darjeeling tea from the foothills of the Himalayas Sourced from:
Darjeeling tea from the foothills of the Himalayas

Louise the tea taster says

Most of the Earl Greys you find use a poor quality tea base from China, which is like palming yourself off as landed gentry when all you own is a Barbour jacket. We use the finest Darjeeling from the foothills of the Himalayas, and add to it the finest bergamot citrus from sunny southern Italy to create something altogether more gentrified.

How does it taste?

The exotic, floral tones of Darjeeling tea are balanced with the zesty citrus taste of bergamot.

Good if you're feeling

in need of refinement; one sip of this will leave you feeling posh.

Earl grey as i always wanted

This tea has taken over my life.
It has been a staple in my diet for a long time I can't seem to function with out the aid this tea.
I first tried it after dabbling in normal earl grey teas many moons ago I was in my local deli and I asked for earl grey and I was give this temple of tranquility and peace my busy stressful day disappeared into this cup of swirling warmth. I asked the cashier and he brought me a pack over and I hastily threw money at him and rushed home to recreate this heaven and I have been feeding this addiction ever since. Thank you teapigs for giving something to keep me going through my stress days

Darjeeling earl grey

I was given this tea as a present for x-mas. I love earl grey tea and have tried a lot of differnt makes over the years. This was by far the best I have ever tried! Sooo nice at the end of a bad day at work

Earl Grey

I was so looking forward to trying this tea. I'm a huge lover of Earl Grey and after reading all the glowing reviews I thought I was in for a treat.

I am however sadly disappointed. I find the tea to be very high in tannin which leaves my mouth feeling horrible and dry, I can't taste or smell any hint of bergamot which gives Earl Grey it's characteristic taste, and the tea has an oddly soapy flavour.

The only way I can make the tea palatable is to make it very weak.

Sorry Teapigs, but I'll be sticking to another brand of Earl Grey

Simply the Best

The Earl Grey from teapigs is everything earl grey tea should be, but mostly (increasingly) isn't. Discovering it has made my year....it is close to perfection.

Excellent cup of tea

My partner and I both love the Darjeeling Earl Grey. It is just the tonic for a Saturday morning after a hideous week at work. Brilliant blending by Tea Pigs!
