If this is the only thing you know brentford for then get with it & let us enlighten you.
Brentford has had many famous residents including Kate Adie, Anna Ford, Gordon Kaye, Miranda Richardson, Bruce Dickinson, Nick Lowe, Rat Scabies (oh yes) and Stan Bowles - last spotted three weeks ago going to a match at the Brentford football ground.
But just take a look at this!
Even Cameron Diaz is a fan of our beloved Brentford.

Being the tea nuts that we are then how could we not love this week's howies t-shirt of the week? Louise has already ordered one for each of us here. Nice to know also that Shane, the designer, has donated his design fee to the howies Do Lectures. To see if they have one in your size, (of course they will), just click here.

will suit you sir

We hear a lot of talk about the work/lifestyle balance these days. So I thought I'd try a bit of balancing. On a recent work trip to Norfolk I took along my bike and managed a glorious ride to the beach. Stunning scenery all around. Will certainly be heading back that way for more.

Also stopped off at the lovely Burnham Market, known to long term residents as Chelsea-by-the-sea

I went to visit Kingyo therapy suites last week in Paddington - they serve teapigs to their customers while they wait to see a range of very clever holistic therapists (from nutritionists to chiropractors to acupunturists to homeopaths). Anyway, besides getting a tour of the place which is lush (see pitcures below) and a cup of my favorite peppermint leaves, I was also treated to a free session with their acupunturist, Christine. I'd said i was scared at the thought of needles and owner, Michal, couldn't stand for that so she insisted I give it a go.
And what can I say, I have never felt more relaxed in my life! Not painful, slightly achy at times but in a good way - like when you've had a good stretch. I honestly could have stayed there all afternoon. Anyway watch this space because Kingyo are putting together an offer for teapigs customers on some of their workshops... so maybe you can be lucky teapigs too.

Do you remember those controversial "do not kiss" signs put up at the train station in Warrington a little while ago? Well, they have been bought by none other than the lovely teapigs stockists Michelle from Shelly's Restaurant in Warrington for the bargain price of 546 pounds. So if you're in her neck of the woods, go and treat yourself to a cup of teapigs (and a smooch if you're lucky)
