Patisserie Valerie
Posted 15th May 2012 by Hayley
I’ve been checking out the brand new Patisserie Valerie at the great new concourse at London’s Kings Cross station. Upstairs in the beautiful new design you no longer have to suffer dusty slop before embarking on your journey - they are now serving a delicious range of teapigs! Tuesday morning commuters and travellers were treated to some delicious peppermint and liquorice & peppermint tea to try, discovering the difference that whole leaf tea makes. Pop in if you fancy a decent cup of tea to accompany your journey, and see if you can resist the delectable range of cakes once you’re there!

Hayley goes T'North!

Over the last few days I've been out and about seeing some of the new and exciting places where you can find our fabulous teas! Francesca restaurant in Baker Street London have just opened, offering delicious range of teas for you to try, alongside the wonderful menu (as my yummy lasagne will testify!) of fresh pasta dishes.
If London is a bit far for a perfect cup of whole leaf tea then fear not – we’re spreading the Real Tea message across the nation! This week, we’ll be finding out about some of the big events that The Brink in Liverpool have got in store over the summer, as well as visiting Junction Coffee in Aigburth to see how they’re getting on as new matcha stockists. Travelling across the North-West I’ll also be seeing the gorgeous Manchester Cathedral Café where Create have launched a restaurant that not just serves up great food, it also supports homeless and vulnerable people back in to work through training and skills building. Like us, they’re truly passionate about the quality of products that they use so we’re extremely happy to have them working with us spreading the teapigs word! Keep your eye on the blog for more news of where I’ll be on my next trip and new places across the nation where you can get your favourite teapigs brew….

just thing for your vintage tea party
Posted 23rd March 2012 by Becky
At teapigs we're all about chic and modern mugs, teapots and infusers (check out our latest addition to the collection, the Scandinavian teapot!) but we know some of you love your more vintage, traditional teaware, and if you’re planning a tea party the guys over at Mayflower Events might be just the ticket.
They are a one stop shop for organising and catering tea parties for all sorts of celebrations, and if you fancy a theme for your ‘do’ they can get that all sorted for you too. They have a range of pretty crockery and bits and pieces for hire and also supply cakes and other goodies – teapigs and cake, yum!
If you are having a teapigs tea party this Spring, send your photos over to becky@teapigs.co.uk - we’d love to see!
